Japanese PM Abe and President Trump are holding a press conference. Interesting how the press corps’ questions are all to Trump about his immigration pause executive order that the media says is vile and racist, but they don’t call PM Abe vile and racist for Japan allowing almost no immigration whatsoever.
Abe talked up Japan’s manufacturing investments in the US, which has been a boon to right-to-work states like South Carolina and Georgia, but don’t expect any investments in a city like ours with a legitimate Socialist, Kshama Sawant, on the city council calling for the proletariat revolution: “The workers should take over the factories and shut down Boeing’s profit-making machine. . . . We can re-tool the machines to produce mass transit like buses, instead of destructive, you know, war machines.”
Imagine a rail line going straight from the Nucor steel plant to a new, beautiful, yuge Toyota factory in South Park. #ThisIsWhatCapitalismLooksLike
